Rationale for this Project
Summary of Progress during January - March 2023
  1. I spent 13.75 hours in 23Q1 on this Project, or related work (21 hours YTD, where for "YTD" - Year to Date - I mean the (academic) year that commenced in October 2022). That's 108.1% of the planned effort (81.6% YTD). Overall, 2% of my Project effort in the Quarter was directed towards this project (making 1.8% YTD) - as against 1.9% planned (2% YTD).

    1. Mathematics - Reading / Writing (Total Hours = 13)
    2. Mathematics - Admin (Total Hours = 0.75)
  3. In 23Q1 I scheduled 1 hour / week for this project.
  4. It looks like I exceeded my budget this Quarter, but this is mostly because I included a couple of accounting tasks against this project where they involved mathematical thought and modelling (rather than processing of data).
  5. I got into conversation (again) with the wife of one of Julie’s singing group friends (also our GP) who’s doing an OU BA (having originally studied Chemistry at Oxford). She’s just finished the first year and is very excited about the course. I took a look, but it’s a lot of work for at least 6 years (as it ought to be for a degree!), and there’s no way I can commit this time. So, it looks as though there’s no way I can atone for my wasted time at King’s.
